南通建设长三角北翼经济中心的功能定位及提升

结合南通城市中心性现状的测评和南通的地区比较优势，南通建设长三角北翼经济中心的功能定位应确定为以现代制造业中心、区域性国际航运物流中心、区域金融中心、区域性现代商务商贸中心和区域科技创新中心五大功能为支撑的长三角北翼综合性经济中心。今后，南通应通过强化规划引领、构建现代产业体系、放大港口优势等途径，加快提升南通城市中心性，不断增强中心城市的对外服务功能。

Functional Orientation and Promotion of Nantong as the Economic Center in the North Wing of Yangtze River Delta

With the understanding about the present situation of urban centrality and comparative regional advantages of Nantong,we conclude that the functional orientation of Nantong as a regional economic center in the north wing of Yangtze River Delta should be an all-round regional economic center and the support system consist of five major functions （namely modern manufacturing center,regional international shipping and logistic center,regional financial center,regional business and commercial center and regional technology innovation center）. From now on,Nantong should gradually strengthen its service ability for exterior areas through the methods of stressing planning guidance,constructing modern industrial system,amplifying port advantages, and so on.
