| Abstract: | In recent years much attention has been paid to polycrystalline silicon as basic material of converting electric energy.In the present paper,various metallurgical methods for the production of polycrystalline silicon were briefly described,and their characteristics,tendency and the feasibility were analyzed.Some proposals for low-cost production of solar-grade polysilicon were discussed. |
