With technological management as the main theme,this article explains the theoretical category of technological management and its relationship with project management.Taking the technological menagement of the core area of Jiading New Town,the article introduces that the main challenges appeared in the process of planning and construction were at city, community,and architectural levels.The article offers a detailed analysis of the technological management team and their approaches and experience in facing challenges,and their attempts to sum up the basic know-hows in terms of urban planning,architectural design and construction supervision.Lastly the guiding principle of technological management based on humaniged needs is introduced.
