摘    要:针对恶劣天气场景中交通图像常见的降质严重、模糊不清和对比度低等问题,提出一种基于颜色空间转换的交通图像增强算法。该算法首先在RGB颜色空间中对R、G、B 3个颜色通道的图像进行对比度拉伸操作,然后将图像由RGB颜色空间转换到HSV颜色空间,在HSV颜色空间中对V分量进行对比度受限自适应直方图均衡化操作,最后将图像从HSV颜色空间转换回RGB颜色空间得到最终的增强图像。实验结果表明:该方法与其他几种著名的增强算法相比,能获得更为理想的增强效果。

Abstract:Aiming at the common problems such as the serious quality degradation, blurring and low contrast of traffic images in bad weather condition, a traffic image enhancement algorithm based on color space conversion is proposed. Firstly, the contrast stretch operation of the RGB three color channel images is performed in RGB color space using the modified auto contrast algorithm. Secondly, the image is converted from the RGB color space to the HSV color space. In HSV color space, the contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization operation of the V component of the image is conducted. Finally, the image is converted from the HSV color space back to the RGB color space and the finally enhanced image is obtained. Compared with several state of the art image enhancement methods, the proposed method can achieve superior image enhancement performance.
