Melting and castig processes for Al-Mg-Li-Zr alloy

Investigation into melting and casting processes for Al-Mg-Li-Zr alloys shows alleviation of oxidization in melts is important for composition control and inclusion recluction in ingots. By using bubbling and vacuum refining during melting H 2, content is lowered and Na content is controlled for ingots casting under suitable protection metasurement. By selecting suitable parameters and protecting methods cracking of ingots may be reduced to improre qualities of ingots.
