Transverse cutting of moving porous strip

1.	Twin drum transverse shears incorporated into a porous strip production line are incapable of ensuring high quality of cutting of green porous strip rolled from powders of various metals and fractions into sections of the required length.
2.	To ensure cleaner cutting of strip, generally use should be made of shears with cutters moving in a reciprocating manner and traveling with a velocity equal to the velocity of the strip being cut.
