Study on the Influence of Urban Green Space on the Satisfaction of Residents

Urban green space is one of the urban landscapes coupling man-made and natural, and it is an important part of improving the living environment of residents. The use of urban green space is an effective way to improve the physical and mental health and well-being of residents. In order to verify the influencing factors and the degree of impact of urban green space on residents, all green spaces larger than 1hm2 in the main urban area of Hangzhou are used as the research object. Based on a questionnaire survey of 665 residents, the ArcGIS technology is used to analyze the spatial layout of the green space in the main urban area of Hangzhou. The seemingly uncorrelated regression equation (SURE) is used to analyze the influencing factors and their degree of influence on residents'' physical health and well-being, mental health and well-being, and satisfaction. The results show that the frequency of residents'' visits to the green space (number of visits, stay time), the projects in the green space, the spatial layout of the green space, and the individual attributes and perceptions of the interviewees will all have different dimensions and degrees of impact on residents'' physical and mental health, well-being and satisfaction. Among them, the degree of green space utilization and geographic space have a greater impact on residents than individual attributes and personal perception. Finally, suggestions are made for the future development of urban green space in the main urban area of Hangzhou from three aspects: increasing the number of street green spaces, reasonably expanding the green space area, and increasing accessibility
