基于NS2的PQM和AQM的仿真实现与比较

摘    要:队列管理机制是网络拥塞控制的一项重要技术,该机制主要分为被动队列管理机制(PQM)和主动队列管理机制(AQM)两大类,前者在拥塞发生时被动地使用丢尾策略(D ropTail)丢弃所有新到的分组,而后者则根据队列长度的变化进行提前丢包,尽量减少和避免拥塞。为了对PQM和AQM进行比较、研究,以各自经典算法D ropTail和RED为例,在NS2环境下实现了两种机制的模拟与分析,指出了各自的优缺点,为进一步研究完善拥塞控制算法提供依据。

Abstract:Queue management network congestion control mechanism is an important technology that is currently divided into passive queue management(PQM) and active queue management (AQM), the former in congestion occurs when a passive use lost tail strategy (DropTail) discards all new to the grouping, which changes depending on the queue length for early packet loss to minimize and avoid congestion. In order to compare PQM and AQM,research to their classic algorithm DropTail and RED, for example, in NS2 environment implements two mechanisms of simulation and analysis, pointed out the respective advantages and disadvantages, to further research on improving the congestion control algorithm.
