摘    要:介绍了蠕墨铸铁的特性,认为其常温抗拉强度明显高于灰铁,而且具有较高的疲劳强度和良好的工艺性;分析了蠕墨铸铁在发动机缸体上的应用情况和存在问题;指出了蠕墨铸铁应用的未来方向。

Abstract:The characteristics of the vermicular iron were introduced.It was considered that it has obviously higher tensile strength than gray iron at the normal temperature,and has also relatively higher fatigue strength and excellent processing properties.The application situation of vermicular iron to the engine cylinder block and the existing problems were analyzed.The future application direction of the vermicular iron was pointed out.
