Matrix description of scattering problems |

| Abstract: | A scattering matrix is proposed that predicts the radiation patterns of antennas near to scattering objects. The method has been applied to the 2-dimensional problem of a line source adjacent to a square scatterer, and excellent agreement has been obtained with experimental results. |
