Abstract:In this paper,microstructure and phase rekation occurring in Li_2O-MgO-CaO-Al_2O_3-SiO_2 glass-ceramics used as a matrix in composite preparation were investigated.Experimental results indicated that different starting materials caused different phase relation appearing in glass-ceramics.The miorostructure of matrix in composite after hot pressing or heat treatment was also discussed.
