| Abstract: | Image segmentation is a basic technique in image processing.This paper presents an improved thresholding method based on Otsu's method , combining with other techniques to segment silver grains in in situ hybridization. The expriments show that the new method possesses some advantages in the aspects of precision and speed for image segmentation and is available for the automatic thresholding of silver grains in in situ hybridization. |
