Progress rate measurement system of an EPC project is essential to improve the management level of the EPC project. With analysis on progress rate features, a progress rate measurement system has been developed on the basis of establishing work breakdown structure, defining work package's contribution weight and choosing proper progress rate measurement model. This paper analyzes the progress rate features of design, procurement and construction activities of an EPC project, outlines several methods of progress rate measurements and provides some practical models and application examples of the progress rate measurement system of the EPC project.
