The Application analysis of Femtocell technology in post-3G era

In China,3G network construction has entered the second half.As we all know,3 G transmits wireless signal by high frequency band,and the quality of indoor coverage is often unsatisfactory.But according to the survey,70% of 3G services happen in the indoor environment,therefore,the quality of indoor wireless coverage determines the user’s satisfaction.Femtocell,as home base representative,which is an extension of mobile networks in the home becomes a good choice for telecom operators.This paper describes the concept and advantages of Femtocell technology,and make a simple analysis on its market development.
