Pyridine Derivatives and Their Synthesis by Catalytic Ring-closing Reaction

The classification of pyridine derivatives was introduced, application and synthetic route of alkyl pyridine and halogenated pyridine were also elucidated in detail. Meanwhile, the global production and market situations of pyridine and its derivatives were analyzed briefly. The synthetic technology progress,synthetic methods of alkyl pyridine and halogenated pyridine were summarized. The synthesis of pyridine derivatives based on catalytic ring-closing reaction was introduced. Finally, it was pointed out that the scientific researchers in China should pay great attention to the development of new pyridine compounds with self-owned intellectual property.
