Abstract:In the automobile steering system, Electrical Power Steering System (EPS) has become the most important steering technology and developing focus depending on its outstanding performances. The basic structures and operation theory of EPS are introduced, and its main characteristics are described in detail. Also, performances and development tendencies of the key EPS technologies are examined.
