| Abstract: | Cold extrusion process and machining process for the cup with bosses are compared. The cold extrusion process for the cup with bosses is analyzed. The process difficulties are described. The process design, blank size calculation and softening, punch and cavity die design, entire design of the die are described in detail. The advantages of cold extrusion process for the cup with bosses are introduced. |
