摘    要:本文综合介绍了新近发展迅速的边界元法。其着重点在于:从点源函数理论出发,阐明边界元法的实质,从而指明间接与直接解的内在联系和主要差别。与此同时也具体地说明了两种解答的离散过程。最后通过低水头水电站蜗壳的水力设计说明了边界元法在流体力学中的应用。


Boundary Element Method
Abstract:The present paper is aimed at offering a general introduction to the rapidly developed boundary element method (BEM) with the focus on its theoretcial essence, starting from the theory of the point-source function. The intrinsic connection and the remarkable differences between the indirect and the direct solutions of BEM have been expounded. What is more, the detailed processes of discretization of these two solutions have also been developed. The practical application of BEM in fluid mechanics was illustrated through a typical calculation for a hydraulic spiral casing on the low-head hydro-electric power station.
