| Abstract: | Celebrating music through the GRAMMY Awards has a history over 50 years. The Recording Academy continues its rich legacy and ongoing growth as the premier outlet for honoring achievements in the recording arts and supporting the music community. With Celebrity, Super Stars all over the world and cutting edge TV technology, the Grammy Live from CBS became an annual show and it has been receiving quite a satisfying rate. Part I of this article introduced the live sound mixing engineer, also Grammy Winner John Harris＇ story of Grammy Live Mixing and his conception on TV Surround Sound. Part 2 and part 3 of this article review the author＇ s dialogues with Mr. Harris during Dolby Champion training at China Film Base; strive to summarize views and thoughts on TV surround sound creation. |
