Abstract:To solve the serious environmental problems,the water-based coating will become a development orientation of environment-friendly coating in the future.A waterborne primer for coil materials was prepared by physical mix of waterborne saturated polyester with waterborne epoxy resin.The influence of mass ratio of polyester to epoxy and different curing agents on film performance was discussed.The corrosion resistance mechanism of the film was studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.The results indicated that the obtained film prepared with a mass ratio of polyester to epoxy resin 7:3 and partially methylated amino resin SM5717 as curing agent has good comprehensive performance:cross-cut adhesion strength 0 grade,T-bend 1T,pencil hardness 3H,MEK resistance >100 times,and salt spray resistance 450 h.
