Design and Implementation of Hubei Lake Spatial and Temporal Evolution System Based on WebGIS

Located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,Hubei Province is rich in lake resources and has the reputation of"the province of thousand lakes".In recent years,the natural evolution of water system and the influence of human activities make the lake area change significantly.In order to fully understand the changes of lakes in Hubei Province,the use of the spatial information processing function of WebGIS,database and other key technologies,design and establish the lake information database of Hubei Province,to display the spatial and temporal evolution of the basic situation of lakes in Hubei Province.The system can provide the functions,such as storage management,classified query,analysis,and statistics of Lake information in Hubei Province.Based on the Web,visualize the construction and development in Hubei Province,including the basic situation and space-time evolution of Lake area change,wetland degradation,water environment change.Provide theoretical basis for the protection and management of wetland resources and construction and development in Hubei Province.
