Abstract:Aims]This study aims to establish a method for the simultaneous residue determination of penoxsulam,pyrazosulfuron-ethyl and pretilachlor in rice based on QuEChERS(quick,easy,cheap,effective,rugged and safe)and ultra high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS).Methods]The samples were extracted with acetonitrile,and purified with octadecylsilane(C18).The mass spectrometer was performed in multi-reaction monitoring mode,and electrospray ionization in positive mode was selected.The penoxsulam,pyrazosulfuron-ethyl and pretilachlor residues were quantified by the external standard method using the matched standard solution to compensate for matrix effect.Results]The results showed that there was a good linear correlation between the concentrations of penoxsulam,pyrazosulfuron-ethyl and pretilachlor,their peak areas with correlation coefficients of more than 0.9926.The average recoveries of the three analytes varied from 88 to 111%with the relative standard deviation(RSD)ranging from 0.9 to 9%in brown rice,rice husk and rice plants.Conclusions]This method is rapid,simple and accurate,and can be adapted for the confirmation of penoxsulam,pyrazosulfuron-ethyl and pretilachlor residues in rice samples.The results of twelve locations revealed that the penoxsulam,pyrazosulfuron-ethyl and pretilachlor in rice was lower than the maximum residue limit standard for brown rice set by China.
