Abstract:Since the swing angle of cranes is large when starting and stopping,which affects the working efficiency,the research of swing angle detection system is of great significance to improve the efficiency of cranes and realize unmanned operation of cranes.This paper presents a design of swing angle detection system for bridge cranes,which measures the swing angle by using image sensor and computer vision algorithm.With industrial cameras as vision sensors,the proposed technology identifies the hook based on YOLOv3 target detection algorithm,and calculates the swing angle according to the displacement of the hook after leaving the equilibrium position in the image and the image coordinate transformation.
