2G与3G混合组网策略研究

Investigation of 2G/3G Hybrid Networking

WCDMA is one of the three major standards of 3G mobile communication systems, which can evolve GSM to 3G smoothly. This paper analyses the interference between WCDMA and GSM, the budget of links and the capacity of the system. Therefore the feasibility that WCDMA shares the BTS of GSM is discussed. On the other hand, on account of the dissimilarity and feature of WCDMA and GSM, the strategy of hybrid networking is investigated in the paper.
