| Abstract: | The characteristics and main points of radiographic examination techniques for pressure vessels are outlined, covering geometric arrangement, exposure technology, parameter selection, condition assembly, image quality evaluation and defect interpretation. The fundamentals of effectiveness and reliability of radiographic testing(RT) and the ways to realize weld examination are emphasized. Also, the limitations of the technique are discussed. Finally, the pitfalls in radiographic inspection of pressure vessels are presented. |
