| Abstract: | The paper gives introduction to the operator wireless LAN (OWLAN) that combines the WLAN access and GSM/GPRS roaming technologies. The main components of the OWLAN system and their functions are analyzed, and the mechanism of authentication, roaming and billing, which are based on SIM, are discussed. |
