| Abstract: | Modern pulp and paper industry needs to integrate advanced management technology, information technology and automation technology efficiently to implement CIPS (computer integrated process system) in order to meet furious market competition and environment protection. The features of the pulp and paper industry and its requirement to CIPS are discussed in this paper. And then a three-dimension integrated structure of CIPS suitable for pulp and paper industry is proposed. In addition, a novel CIPS scheme used in the pulp and paper industry is presented based on SIMATIC PCS7. |
