| Abstract: | An analytical method for determining the energy dependence of the electrical conductivity in poorly conducting materials is presented and applied to samples of Nb-Al2O3 cermet films. It is shown that the low temperature dependence of the resistivity is due to a set of discrete conductivity states which are narrow in energy and which lie close to the Fermi energy. |
