| Abstract: | Perhaps the greatest difference between OS/2 and its predecessors is only the virtual memory management facility. The purpase of this paper is to describe the realization mechanisms from the system point of view. At first, we introduce the memory management model, then we deal with, in more detail, the basic memory management, segment motion & segment swapping according to the model. In the end, we give our conclutions about this paper. |
