| Abstract: | This note deals with the MHD oscillatory flow of an optically thin fluid in an asymmetric wavy channel filled with porous medium. Based on some simplifying assumptions, the governing momentum and energy equations are solved and analytical solutions for fluid velocity, temperature distribution, Nusselt number and skin friction are constructed. The effects of radiation parameter, Peclet number, Hartmann number, porous medium shape factor and geometric parameters on flow and heat transfer characteristics have been examined in detail. |
