从文化层面审视大学的和谐发展

大学的发展不仅包含物质层面和制度层面的发展,亦包含文化层面的发展.大学文化发展的体现就是人文理念的建立.大学的和谐发展, 应体现人文与科学两种文化的和谐以及教学与科研两种职能的和谐.大学作为独立的文化系统,其发展根本就是推动文化的演进,而文化的演进又主要取决于人文精神的范导,即以尊重"人"的价值为行为前提.只有尊重"人"而不是经济利益成为大学发展的价值取向,大学的发展才能趋向和谐.

Cultural development:a must in the concerted development of a university

The development of a university entails both the development of its hardware the tangible resources and the development of its software the intangible resources.Central to the intangible resources is the humanistic culture of a university,which,however,has more or less been marginalized in many universities in present China.In this paper,context of the marginalization of humanistic culture is first brought out.The significance for a university to develop concertedly is then discussed.The concerted development of teaching and research of a university is emphasized as the core element of the development of a university.Last,human resource as the driving force for concerted development is highlighted.
