分布式计算环境的比较研究

分布式计算环境是近２０年来影响计算技术发展的最活跃因素之一。由于Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ应用的高速增长，而Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ的分布式计算模式的研究才刚刚起步，怎样在Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ浩如烟海的信息资源中有效地检索信息、获取服务便成为一项急待解决的问题。一个有效的、灵活的、适用于全城互联网络环境的分布式计算模型的建立是构造高效协同全域网络的基础。该文综述了当前两种主要计算模式（客户机／服务器模式和对等计算模式）的各自应用特性和适用环境并结合Ｉｎｔｅｒ－ｎｅｔ应用，比较了它们相异的优点和缺点。虽然对等计算模式当前的应用还存在较大的局限性，但从未来网络服务功能的要求来看，对等网络的自主、灵活、松散的结构特点更加适合下一代网络应用的发展。

A Comparative Study of Two Distributed Computing Modes

Distributed Computing is one of the most active factors that has influenced the computing technology development in the past 20 years.The research of distributed computing pattern based on internet has just started,while the application of internet is developing quickly,so it is high time to solve the problem of searching information efficiently in a large number of internet resources.In order to build a highly efficient,cooperating network with a wide enough scope,we must set up a flexible and effective mode of distributed computing that adapts to the wide-ranged network environment.This paper focuses on two main distributed computing modes,i.e.,client/server and peer-to-peer,and introduces their respective features,working environments, advantage s and disadvantages in the internet application. Considering the requirements of network in the future,the peer-to-peer mode,with its Iimitations,is more suitable to the network application than C/S.
