A combined test used for the diagnosis of organic brain condition: Predictive validity based on radiographic and electroencephalographic criteria.
Authors:Kraus   J.
Abstract:The predictions of "organic" brain damage made by A. A. Elizur's (see 34:4) Combined Test for the Diagnosis of Organic Brain Condition were validated against EEG and radiographic criteria from 231 neuropsychiatric patients. There was a highly significant correlation between the predictions and the criteria. The test predicted correctly 69% of the EEG findings, 71% of the radiographic findings, and 82% of the combined EEG and radiographic findings when the 2 were in agreement.
