Abstract: | Describes the Reid Report, a 3-part instrument (scoreable attitudes-toward-theft inventory, biographical data blank, admissions list of past delinquencies) designed to predict the likelihood that an employment applicant will steal from his employer. For a sample of 254 employment applicants, Reid Report evaluations were correlated with evaluations based on polygraph interviews.
