Abstract:In the actual quantum key distribution (QKD) system, the imperfect equipment will bring great challenges to the security and implementation of the scheme. The decoy state can effectively resist the photon number separation attack, among which the passive decoy state scheme has more advantages in security and realization. However, the blind attack caused by the imperfection of the single photon detector still brings great security risks to the QKD system. Although traditional blinding attacks can be found by direct current detection, probabilistic blinding attacks can still steal some key information. In this paper, the influence of probabilistic blinking attacks on passive deceptions based on weakly coherent state light sources is studied, and the secret key rate formulas of passive deceptions are given in the case of probabilistic blinking attacks with both infinite-length and finite-length key.
