Asymmetric fiber-optic coupler for LAN applications |

| Abstract: | This paper presents experimental results of an asymmetric, effectively nonreciprocal fiber-optic coupler fabricated from unequal core diameters multimode fibers. It is shown that the nonreciprocity is due to modal dependent coupling. |
