| 摘 要： | 通用移动通信系统(UMTS)与IEEE802.11的无线局域网(WLAN)的互联互通为实现安全快速的垂直切换技术带来新的挑战。一方面垂直切换操作不能降低网络的安全性,另一方面,垂直切换的时延必须尽可能小,以保证网络服务质量。在对WLAN-UMTS垂直切换认证协议分析的基础上,提出一组改进的认证和重认证机制,该机制通过增改认证参数和信令交互方式,减少了信令流量,降低了WLAN到UMTS垂直切换的认证时延,提高了认证安全性。 |

| Abstract: | The interoperability between UMTS and IEEE 802.11 WLAN brings new challenges for realizing safe and fast vertical handoff techniques. Vertical handoff operations must minimize time delay to ensure the quality of network services while guaranteeing network security. Based on an analysis of the WLAN-UMTS vertical handoff authentication protocol, a set of improved authentication and re-authentication mechanisms is proposed. By adding and changing authentication parameters and signaling interaction, these mechanisms can reduce signaling traffic and the authentication delay of vertical handoffs between WLAN and UMTS, with enhanced authentication security. |
