摘    要:海底光缆通信是当今世界洲际通信的主力.与中心管式海底光缆相比,层绞式海底光缆由于缆芯结构的不同,它的光纤余长控制简单、准确、有效;能容纳更多的光纤芯数,通信容量更大;具有更好的温度性能和机械性能.在当今信息时代对通信容量的需求越来越大的背景下,层绞式海底光缆具有很大的理论研究价值和实际应用价值.

Abstract:Submarine fiber optic cable is playing a leading role in the intercontinental communications. Compared with the central tube fiber optic cable, layer stranded one has the advantages such as simple, accurate, and effective control of fiber excess length; more fiber count admitted and having larger traffic capacity; having better temperature and mechanical properties. In the present background that the demand for communications capacity is getting greater and greater, layer stranded submarine fiber optic cable has great values in theoretical study and practical application.
