The researching and development status quo of the enzymes for dyeing and printing(Ⅰ)

The development, function principles and catalytic mechanisms of the enzyme products were described in details, and the recent enzyme products of the third generation made by the gene engineering and DNA coding technologies were presented. The new application fields of the enzymes in the textile dyeing and printing were analyzed on the basis of the principles, e.g., enzymatic washing, enzymatic oxidation of vat dye leucos, cotton bleaching with laccase, and cotton scouring/bleaching with new pectinase.
