普通工科院校大学英语教学中语用能力培养的研究

摘    要:语用能力是指识别语境并在语境中准确理解别人和得体表达自己的能力。语用能力不会随着学生的语言知识水平的提高而自然地提高。研究和实践表明,培养语用能力有赖于在语言实践中运用学来的语用知识,大学英语教学中传授语用知识,对语用能力的提高有明显的促进作用。

Abstract:Pragmatic competence,defined as the ability to use language appropriately in a context,which includes two levels of meanings:to understand others accurately and express one's idea appropriately.The improvement of pragmatic competence can not been made spontaneously with the improvement of learners' language level.According to the study and practice,the development of pragmatic competence depends on the usage of pragmatic knowledge in language practice.By initiating students into the study of pragmatic knowledge,college English teaching plays an efficient role in the development of pragmatic competence.
