| Abstract: | Cleaner production is an interesting topic for the paper industry, and whitewater closure is an effective way to achieve zero discharge. In this paper,the feasibility of effluent closure in pulping and papermaking was analyzed and the effects of whitewater closure on paper sheet properties and papermaking process were mainly discussed. |
