《天净沙·秋思》的意义空白性与译者的诠释空间

从语义模糊、句法模糊和意象模糊等方面对马致远的小令《天净沙·秋思》及其四个英译本的意义空白性进行了深入分析，同时通过意义空白性对译者的诠释空间进行了研究。指出译者是原作的读者和评论者，原作文化与译语文化交流的中介人，又是译作的作者；译者在享有诠释自由的同时，也必然受到原作意图、译者自身文化知识储存和译文语言特点等方面的局限。

Blanks of Meaning of "Tian Jin Sha——Autumn Thought" and Translator''s Scope of Interpretation

A deep analysis is made about Ma Zhiyuan＇ s song ＂Tian Jin Sha--Auturnn Thought＂ and its four English versions from the aspects of semantic fuzziness, syntactic fuzziness and image fuzziness. And a research on translator＇s scope of interpretation through blanks of meaning is conducted. This article shows that the translator is the reader and critic of the original work, a mediator of cultural communication between source language and target language, and the author of the interpretation work. The translators have the freedom of interpretation, meanwhile, they are confined by such factors as the intention of the original work, the prior knowledge of their own, and the characteristics of the target language.
