Discussion on the sustainable development of alumina industry in China

The paper analyzes the existing status of alumina industry in China and the main problems as well as gaps between the domestic enterprises and the oversea ones. It also discusses the measures in the development of alumina industry in China and put up the measures such as training, research and application of technology, upgrading the equipment, lowing the cost of production, increasing the quality of product, research of new type of alumina, speeding up the development of bauxite resources and the comprehensive utilization of red mud and realiztion of "zero" discharge.
