| Abstract: | The paper makes comparison and analysis of four groups of main dissimilarities of euphemisms between English and Chinese. Owing to the difference of Chinese culture and Western culture, their attitudes towards birth and death, marriage and divorce,young and old, rich and poor are diverse. This leads to the appearance of different euphemisms. |
