| Abstract: | in the paper, the author names a few typical cable broadband access technologies, in- cluding xDSL, CABLE MODEM, APON, AAON and HFC, and illustrates the pros and cons of those dif ferent technologies. The author also puts particu- lar emphasis on ADSL, a broadband access tech- nology currently under wide deployment, and ana- lyzes all factors that decide the transmission per- formance and the rate of ADSL. |
