| Abstract: | research and development of seed coating formulations,a program led by China Agriculural University,has resulted in a remarkable achievement and made a significant contributions to Chinese agriculture.Based upon the colloidal and polymer chemical principles and through numerous lab and field studies,total of 32 formulations combining fungicides,insecticides,micro nutrients and plant growth regulators were developed and put into commercial production.These formulations were designed to give an integrated pest and disease control for the crops of different eco-regions.Treatment with seed coating formulations has proven to be simple,effective and economical.The seed treatment with seed coating formulation is become an important and standard procedure in China's seed industry. |
