| Abstract: | The second campaign life of No. 1 blast furnace with a capacity of 303 m3 at Shaoguan Iron and Steel Group Corp. has reached that set in the Long Campaign B. F. Standard formulated by the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, China. The results were obtained mainly by improving the quality of the B. F. charges stabilizing the furnace operations, preventing accretion formation, and strengthening the furnace management at the late stage of the campaign. |
