Abstract:An organic-inorganic hybrid material was synthesized by copolymerization of acrylic acid(AA) and modified SiO2 sol obtained by sol-gel method,and then used to prepare organic-inorganic hybrid superhydrophilic coatings by replacing solvent and adjusting pH.The effects of the amount of tetraethyl orthosilicate(TEOS) and coupling agent KH-570,and pH on the hydrophilicity and water dissolution rate of the coatings were studied.The results showed that the coating prepared with TEOS 70wt% and KH-570 3wt% at pH 7 has a water contact angle of 3° in early period,which is up to the demand of super-hydrophilicity.The water contact angle of the coating becomes 11.7° after dry and wet cycles for 30 times.The water dissolution rate of the coating is 16% after immersing in water for 100 h.The coating features an adhesion strength of 0 grade and a pencil hardness of 7H,and does not tarnish at 200 ℃ for 1 h.
