The Design and Implementation of Help for Web Applications

Help is a very important function in all applications. Many methods are used to supply help to the users of applications and let the learning and usage of the system become easier and more convenient. For some complicated systems, especial those depend on the expertise or tips of system users, the expertise and the tips of one user can give more valuable help to the others. In the web applications, the network makes the mutual help become possible. We take a survey of many help functions, and analyzed the procedure of some help function At last we give a novel intelligent help model in Web applications, which is a human and computer cooperative work system, and make an experiment for a e-learning system.
