摘    要:近年来,信息技术得到了突飞猛进的发展,各种图像压缩算法和处理算法层出不穷,其中基于离散小波变换(DWT)的信息处理算法是当前信息处理领域中广泛应用的一种重要工具。但是,基于DWT的图像处理算法计算量巨大,大大限制了其在实时处理领域的应用。本文提出了一种以FPGA DSP为核心的动态可重构的图像压缩系统,在数据处理能力方面比以往的系统有了很大的提高,能够轻松的完成基于DWT的图像压缩。同时,系统具有可重构性,可以方便地将其它的图像处理算法在实时处理系统中实现。

Abstract:In recent years,the Information Technology progressed at a rapid rate.A lot of algorithms were applied in image compressing and processing area.And the algorithm based on Discrete Wavelets Transform (DWT) was one of the powerful tools that have been widely used.But the complex calculating of DWT limited its use in real time system.This paper presents a new structure of reconfigurable image compressing system designed with FPGA and DSP.The system is more powerful than other systems and is able to complete the DWT image compressing rapidly.The system is reconfigurable,and it is also fit for other processing algorithm.
